Happy Valley Cellars produces two wines, a deep, luscious Zinfandel and rich, complex Petite Sirah. In 2006, we harvested one ton each of our best hand-picked Zinfandel and Petite Sirah fruit and trucked the grapes one hour north to the state-of-the-art custom crush facility at Judd’s Hill Micro-Crush, located in the Napa Valley on the Silverado Trail in St. Helena, CA. Art Finkelstein previously owned White Lane Winery in St. Helena, CA and with son Judd, also started Judd’s Hill Winery.

Our Zinfandel
was barrel-aged for eight months, half in new French Oak barrels and half in neutral barrels. Barrel tasting revealed deep, complex and luscious fruit flavors which should continue to develop during bottle aging. We encourage you to enjoy this wine with spicy barbequed ribs, seared Ahi tuna, marinated pork tenderloin, or dark chocolate. The 2006 harvest yielded just under 50 cases of our Zinfandel.
